Founded around coffee, MAISON UMBRA is a private members' club and an aesthetic society. In an era defined by noise and immediacy, we recover the spirit of the European salon and translate it into a contemporary language. Here, coffee is an invitation the beginning of a conversation. We gather remarkable individuals from business, politics, diplomacy, the arts, and public life to exchange and to conceive the world we wish to build. That is why our collections are limited, numbered, and will never be reproduced. They are conceived for the unrepeatable moment. To preserve the exclusivity of each encounter. Membership is by affinity.

A new artistic concept to approach coffee degustation. Limited editions.

Caleb O. Chaire –Founder & CEO Maison Umbra–

Caleb O. Chaire’s professional and intellectual interests are centered on diplomacy, international relations, parliamentarism, and the study of constitutional and comparative law, with particular attention to political and institutional relations between Mexico, France, and Europe. His personal journey has brought him into contact with various spheres of Mexican political and parliamentary life, while allowing him to cultivate relationships and exchanges within international and European circles. Deeply interested in the French political, legal, and intellectual tradition, he regards Paris as a central pillar of his professional aspirations and of his interest in European institutions, international cooperation, and dialogue among nations. In parallel, he is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of MAISON UMBRA, an aesthetic society and a private club, an artistic concept founded around coffee, where ideas are developed through the invitation to the art of conversation, rooted in the diplomatic tradition of the European salons. Translated into a contemporary language, in today’s world it is necessary to preserve this kind of space where personalities from the business world, diplomacy, politics, art, and culture come together and meet. For this reason, its collections aspire to be an art object, and for each of them to preserve that exclusivity of ideas and conversation that arise in such environments. His principal vision is centered on art, contemplation, and intellectual and literary reflection, around coffee as an instrument that fosters that exchange and interaction among personalities.
